American Heart Association
Founded to help battle heart disease and heart-related illness, the American Heart Association (AHA) has been partnering with Cintas on lifesaving training since 2005. Today, we’re their largest CPR, First Aid, and AED training center in the U.S.
In addition to training more than 200,000 of our customers using high-quality AHA curriculums, we’re also committed to raising money for this widely respected organization. Since 2005, we’ve raised $497,565 through employee-partners giving as
well as fundraising efforts including corporate-wide auctions and fundraisers.
We’re also dedicated to raising $250,000 every year by promoting our employee-partner’s participation in heart walks and runs held throughout the country.

PROGRAMS WE SUPPORT
GO RED FOR WOMEN
Supporting health and wellness is crucial to us at Cintas. Just one example is our involvement in Go Red for Women—a focused initiative designed to increase awareness of heart disease and stroke in women. Every year, our employee-partners work tirelessly to raise money to help galvanize this successful AHA campaign, with fundraisers selling red dress pins, blankets, bags, and other items. We also host panel discussions with personal trainers and dieticians, educating our partners on the importance of heart health.
HEART MINI-MARATHON & WALK
Another way we raise money for the AHA is by partnering with the Cincinnati Heart Mini-Marathon & Walk, which benefits local AHA chapters. We even have dedicated “champion” partners from each department who encourage participation—and they can also host their own fundraising events such as cake walks, raffle drawings, and candy sales.
