American Heart Association
Cintas provides support to hundreds of organizations on a corporate level, as well as at a local level, including hospitals, foster children programs, homeless shelters, workplace development and emergency agencies to name a few. Matthew 25: Ministries, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the American Heart Association and INROADS are examples of the many organizations we support.
In 2005, Cintas formed a partnership with AHA that has allowed Cintas to train approximately
200,000 of our customers with AHA curriculums to save lives at their work places.
Dave Bingham, Director of AEDs and Training in our First Aid & Safety Division, oversees the
training that provides Cintas customers with high-quality programs that let our customers
meet regulatory training requirements. Seven-hour courses teach CPR and Automated External
Defibrillator (AED) training for cardiac emergencies and first aid for emergencies, such as
extreme heat or cold, bites and stings.
"We can rely on AHA for quality programs to ensure we offer the gold standard in training,"
Bingham recently told an industry trade publication. “The partnership enables us to offer even
greater value to our customers.”
