Steve Nicklow: Cintas Hero Nominee
Uniontown, PA — After a near record snow fall had blanketed western PA over the weekend, veteran Facility Service SSR Steve Nicklow made an unexpected discovery in a snow drift in Uniontown Pennsylvania. Besides poor road conditions and limited visibility, due to blowing snow, this was a typical Monday on route 94 in Uniontown. The day was going as planned until Steve found a person lying head first in a snow bank. Startled and shocked, Steve quickly steered his truck to a safe area on the snow covered street and rushed towards the person. As Steve approached, he noticed it was an elderly woman. After lifting the lady from the snow pile and assisting her to the safety of a nearby assistant living care center, she softly whispered to Steve that he was “her guardian angel.”
