2009 Nominees - April

Vinnie Borzillo: Cintas Hero Nominee
Branford, Connecticut — He was driving in Waterford this morning and saw a lady slam into a telephone pole. He stopped, helped her out of the car, called an ambulance and stayed with her until the ambulance left. He even called her Mother from his phone for her to let her know what hospital she was going to. This is exactly what differentiates us a service provider-our people!

Brian Cook: Cintas Hero Nominee
Gadsden, Alabama — On 4/9/09 Brian Cook used new training to help save a life. On a route ride a crash was witnessed and Brain went to help. Others looked on as Brian forced open a car door with adrenalin to find an unconscious man being suffocated by his seatbelt and severely injured. Brian released the seatbelt and the driver shortly came too and was breathing. Brian applied pressure to the open head wound and stayed until the driver was airlifted to the hospital. Due to the time it took for the medics to arrive had Brian stood around with the others the driver could have suffocated.
