When Erik Romar, Service Manager, Location F21, Windham, NH, and wife Jennifer had their wedding reception this summer, instead of registering for china and bedding, they asked their 65 guests to give back to their community. In addition to a 50/50 raffle, guests of their wedding celebration were given an opportunity to bid on a wide variety of donated gift baskets. All totaled, they raised $1,100. The recipient of their generosity was the Greater Manchester Chapter of the American Red Cross. Lisa Michaud, Director of the American Red Cross, started a new fundraising program entitled "Save the Day." She indicated that the funds raised by Erik and Jennifer will support two days of disaster relief.
